Overdraft Protection

Let’s face it, we all make mistakes. So to help you avoid the embarrassment and fees that come with overdrawing your account, Ridgeline Credit Union offers Courtesy Pay overdraft protection.

With Courtesy Pay, we will honor check and automatic payment transactions if your account happens to be overdrawn, and if your Overdraft Line Of Credit (if you have this service on your account) is at its maximum allowable balance.

ATM & VISA Check Card Transactions

We will not authorize and pay overdrafts for ATM and everyday VISA Check Card (debit card) transactions unless you ask us to by opting in.

IF WE DO NOT AUTHORIZE AND PAY AN OVERDRAFT ITEM, YOUR TRANSACTION WILL BE DECLINED AT THE POINT OF SALE.

To Opt-In for Courtesy Pay overdraft protection, simply complete the online form and your request will be send to the credit union. Or you can call (801) 328-1521, or toll free at 1-866-358-8548, or download and complete the Opt-In form and return it to the credit union either in person, by fax at (801) 355-3340, or by mailing it to: Ridgeline Credit Union, 564 East 300 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84102
